What is Physical Rehab?
Physiotherapy is one of the key elements in Be Well’s holistic approach to health care. The recent expansion of our Physio team with the arrival of Khun Da, a specialist in sports injuries, allows us to broaden the range of Physio services that we provide.
Taking things one step further, we’re very pleased to have opened our new physical rehabilitation room on the second floor of the center. This spacious, air-conditioned facility can be used by both of our experienced physiotherapists to treat a much broader range of conditions than ever before; and don’t worry about the location, we have an elevator!
Normally, this type of rehab therapy would be limited to hospital facilities because of the space and variety of equipment required, so we’re very pleased to be able to provide this service at the community level.

What type of conditions are addressed by physical rehab?
Essentially the therapy aims to restore strength, co-ordination, balance, confidence and independence after events such as back surgery, hip surgery and strokes. It can also be helpful in cases of general weakness from any cause.
Sports Rehab & Physiotherapy
Da’s background as a physiotherapist treat professional tennis players, (she is an accredited with the ITF Men’s & Women’s World Tennis in Thailand), means that we can offer sports physiotherapy services at Be Well now too.
With many Members very active in golf, gym and other physical pursuits, we believe that this will be a popular addition.
Be Well’s expanded physiotherapy capabilities now cover all eventualities. Many Members are already familiar with Khun Goong who has been with Be well since the beginning. Goong specialises in myofascial release therapy to relieve pain and improve range of movements.
Both our physiotherapists work very closely with our medical doctors in diagnosis and the development of treatment plans relating to all types of sports injuries, rehabilitation needs and preventative care.
