Orthopaedic Clinic
Our orthopaedic / joint-pain clinic is specifically aimed at conditions of the muscles and joints, and runs two times every month on a Wednesday from 1pm to 5pm.
Dr. Sirot Amaranuntakit, a visiting orthopaedic specialist, will be available to address the primary care management of conditions such as: back pain, shoulder, hip or knee pain, sports injuries and other painful or problematic conditions of the joints and muscles.
Please note that because Be Well Medical Center does not have x-ray facilities this clinic is not designed to address problems resulting from recent traumatic injuries.

Hearing Clinic
Every other month we hold a hearing clinic offering the opportunity for consultation with our visiting audiology team. We offer a professional hearing test assessment by a visiting audiologist and we also have a specialist technician for servicing of hearing aid devices.
The technicians are available to discuss recommendations for new hearing aids and can provide a test device that you may take away and use for a trial period at home so that you can check its comfort and assess the benefits in your regular surroundings.
For those patients who have a Phenex Hearing Aid, the equipment needed for servicing may not be available at Be Well however it can be sent to Bangkok to receive the correct service and adjustment.

Urology Clinic
Renowned Urology Specialist from Samitivej Hospital, Bangkok, Dr Isares Saisorn hosts quarterly clinics for new patients and follow-up patients at Be Well Medical Center.
If you are suffering from changes in your bladder functionality or urine, lower abdomen or pain in the groin region, take the opportunity to see the specialist here in Hua Hin rather than going to Bangkok.

Cardiology Clinic
On a monthly basis we will conduct in-house heart clinics with Dr Kitigon Vichairuangthum, consulting cardiologist at Hua Hin Hospital, or one of his colleagues at the Be Well Heart Clinic.
The Be Well Heart Clinic is a joint initiative of the Be Well Medical Center, Hua Hin Hospital, Royal Heart Medical and the Bumrungrad Health Network, combining the resources, skills and experience of all organizations. Read about the Be Well Heart Clinic by clicking HERE.
The Be Well Heart Clinic will provide diagnostic services, basic treatments and rehabilitation programs.
Diagnostic services at the Be Well Heart Clinic will include screening for coronary artery disease, heart failure and arrhythmia using ECG, ultrasound (cardiac echo), and laboratory tests.

Health Psychologist & Psychotherapist
Health psychologist & psychotherapist Dr Mallika Meinhold provides psychology services to Be Well Medical Center.
Dr. Mallika is general practitioner health psychologist. She is bilingual, having been born in Great Britain and growing up in Germany, and has broad experience in psychotherapy/counselling (psychodynamic) and relaxation techniques. She can help with psychological, psychosomatic and chronic disease symptoms (e.g. chronic pain), anxiety, depression, eating disorders, sleeping disorders, addiction, stress related ailments (e.g. hypertension/tension headache), PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), adjustment as well as multi-racial relationship issues.
Couples and marriage counseling helps couples gain insight into their relationship as well as resolving conflict and improving overall connection. Family therapy is also available to create a better functioning home environment.

Gastro Health Clinic
Dr Charlie Laohapand, leading gastroenterologist from Samitivej Liver & Gastro-Intestinal Institute Bangkok, will be available for consultations for new patients and follow-up patients at Be Well Medical Center on a quarterly basis.

Podiatry & Posturologist
Jérôme Somaflhou is a podiatrist and a posturologist graduated from the Ecole Européenne de Pédicurie Podologie in Brussels in 2015. After graduation he established his own clinic in Brussels. In 2018 Jérôme decided to continue his career in Thailand.
Jérôme is a specialist in the care of feet.
As a podiatrist Jerome provides medical care for people with foot, ankle, and lower leg problems. He assesses illnesses and treats injuries involving the lower extremities. If and when required, treatments are executed jointly with, or under supervision of, our family doctors. Typical examples are treatment of fungus, removal of ingrown nails, corns, calluses and cracks.
As a posturologist, Jérôme examines the causes of medical conditions linked to a wrong systematic body position.
Abnormal posture can be associated with the development and progression of many conditions and injuries. Conditions may be caused from increased muscle activity and disc injury, scoliosis, work lifting injuries or office syndrome, sports injuries, foot and back pain, neck pain and headaches, carpal tunnel symptoms, shoulder and ankle injuries.
A careful examination of the patient’s posture using tools such as measurement devices and a stabilometric platform is performed. Jérôme will assess the causes of current or potential medical conditions and recommend a therapy. Treatment recommendations may include manual therapies or physiotherapy, exercise programs, &/or the prescription of insoles.
Jérôme designs and custom makes insoles in his own workshop.
Jérôme is visiting the Banyan clinic every Monday with appointments available from 10am to 4pm.

Dr. Dick Zeilstra is a retired neurosurgeon and a member of the Be Well Advisory Committee. He will be available to advise our family doctors and patients within his field of expertise: brain and spine surgery on Tuesday 23 August.
