Overview of the Event

On November 11, Be Well Medical Center, in collaboration with Audimed, held a Hearing Aid Day seminar at the Coral Restaurant, BelVida Estates. The event aimed to address the causes, diagnostic methods, and available solutions for hearing issues, providing participants with a detailed overview of hearing health and treatment options.

Seminar Content and Topics Covered

The seminar began with an introduction from Be Well, followed by a presentation by Audimed audiologists Khun Kanang Dermtoranin and Khun Suchanun Nuadpram. The presentation covered key topics including:

• Common causes of hearing loss and auditory impairment
• Diagnostic approaches and test methods for hearing evaluation
• An overview of current hearing aid technologies and their clinical benefits

The presentation was followed by a Q&A session, during which participants inquired about specific conditions, treatment options, and the functionality of different hearing aid devices. The session provided further clarification on hearing aid technologies and diagnostic practices.

Afternoon Hearing Tests and Consultations

Following the seminar, Audimed audiologists conducted individual hearing tests and consultations at Be Well’s audio test facility. These sessions were available at no charge for Be Well Members and BelVida Privilege Card Holders, with a nominal fee for other participants. These consultations allowed attendees to discuss individual hearing health concerns and receive personalized assessments and recommendations.

Ongoing Collaboration with Audimed

Be Well Medical Center has established an ongoing partnership with Audimed. As part of this collaboration, Audimed audiologists will conduct bi-monthly visits to Be Well for hearing tests, consultations, and hearing aid support. Audimed will also provide repair services for hearing aids, including devices purchased outside the clinic. This partnership aims to support continuous access to hearing health services within the community.
