Cancellation Policy

We understand that there are times when you may need to cancel or re-arrange an appointment at short notice and we will always try to accommodate re-scheduling requests as best we can.

The special clinics that we run take place intermittently and the supporting specialist sometimes travel many hours in order to be available for consultation at our clinic. For these clinics, late cancellations often do not allow time for other patients to fill the new vacancy. Accordingly, we are regrettably obliged to charge a fee for lost appointments, as outlined below.

Supporting specialists, psychotherapists, physiotherapists, acupuncturists & dentists appointments

Seven days before your scheduled appointment, we will send you an appointment reminder email asking you to confirm. If the appointment is not confirmed via email within 5 days of the appointment date, we may need to release the slot to another patient on the waiting list.

“No shows” and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a charge of 100% of the consultation fee.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment will incur no charge.

Family Doctor Appointments

Cancellations do not incur a fee but please call ahead if you need to cancel so that we can optimize our doctors’ appointment times.
